Agreed. The sublime music is the slow movement from Chopin’s 1st piano concerto played by Emil Gilles and there’s plenty more to discover.

Thanks so much. I love Chopin and have a lot of his stuff on CDs. I espcecially love the simple piano intro to Krakowiak. Thanks again. Yes, Chopin sublime. Emil not bad either; had LPs featuring him.

@@MissMark999 I feel like a fool not knowing the music to your video. I'm the kind of type who, when listening to local classical music radio station, can name that tune quickly. occasionally. I love Chopin, but I'm more of a Brahms piano concerto type. No matter. Thanks for beautiful video.

@@tomzeeh4955 Many thanks for the comments. Great minds think alike I have at least 6 versions of the Brahms 2nd concerto. Tops for me is the late 1950s version with Gilels / Reiner and the Chicago S.O. Much more impassioned than the later D.G. version with Jochum which is too slow. Hope you recognise the music in the other C.T. videos I put on my channel over the last few years.

Thanks. The most stupid thing I ever did was selling pristine LPs cheap several years ago. In the 70s I collected Brahms symphonies by Haitink, Szell, Toscaanini ... Now I only have Solti/CSO CDs. Not bad. And one Haitink version of #1. The only version of Brahms Piano Concerto No. 2 I have now is Barenboim/Barbirolli which I think is magnificent. Thanks for your time. Go Brahms and Chopin and many others. Oh, forgot Beethoven. Sorry. I'm kind of partial to CSO as I was born in Chicago and am still a northern Illinois guy.

You’re right, it was Friday. I got lucky. Went back on Sunday for the evening launch. I couldn’t believe it the sun was just right at about 5:30 but they delayed the launch till about 7ish because of wind by which time the sun had started to disappear. Some you win, some you don’t. I gave up and took off to beat the mass exodus. Many thanks for you comment so all was not lost !

@MissMark999 we were camping and had to leave Sunday lunchtime. I got up early, hoping for the morning launch only to find it had been cancelled, but got a reasonable Saturday morning, so as you rightly say, all wasn't lost. I've never got round to putting anything on youtube, but appreciate those that go to effort to do so 👍🏻
